Sacred Arts Festival, February 21-23, 2025

Remember, Renew, REJOICE!

Art holds the power to connect us to the past, guide us in the present, and inspire hope for the future. Through the Sacred Arts Festival, we celebrate how creativity leads us to remember the stories that shape us, renew our spirits, and rejoice in the divine beauty surrounding us. From workshops and performances to shared moments of reflection, this weekend offers opportunities to explore the sacred and the artistic in harmony. We invite you to come and enjoy the visual, fine and performing arts we will have on offer.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

—Ecclesiastes 3:11

With Fuller’s own stirring arrangements of Charles Wesley’s hymns, humor shared, and vivid stories told, we invite you to travel back to 1780, and enjoy a visit with John Wesley’s younger brother, Charles. We highly recommend you not miss this incredible opportunity to meet Charles Wesley himself!

I love the Children's Minute! But what is the theology behind its place in the worship service? St. Augustine believed that every worship service, especially when the spoken word was to be used, should offer moments of delight. Quite simply, we will explore how St. Augustine has formed my own understanding of the Children's Minute in worship.Preceding Dr. Borders’ talk will be a recitative from John Wible, which he wrote himself. No need to sign up, just come!
