Children's Ministry

The purpose of First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministries is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, study, service, and friendship. We seek to teach the Word of God, guide the children in their prayer lives, and surround them with a community of love. Your children can participate in weekly children’s church and other fun activities, join the children’s choir, and attend one of the largest Vacation Bible Schools in the area. For children in 3rd-5th grades, we offer ELMO, the Elementary Methodist Organization. ELMO is designed to nurture a developing awareness of Christianity, as well as create an encouraging environment of fun and friendship. A nursery will be available during Sunday morning and Wednesday evening activities.
