Youth Choir
The Youth Choir of FUMC Montgomery is made up of students grades six through twelve. Rehearsals are held in the choir room in Fellowship Building on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The choir often leads worship for the 8:45 a.m. Sunday morning service, and participates in the Hanging of the Greens Service, Lessons and Carols, the noonday communion service on Christmas Eve, and leads the Youth Sunday and Easter Sunrise services. They also go on a mission-based tour in the summer! Past destinations have included New York, Chicago, Savannah, St. Louis, Nashville, and Washington, DC. In the summer of 2018 the Youth Choir participated in a special mass Youth Cue Choir Festival concert in the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. All youth in grades sixth through twelfth are invited to sing and encouraged to bring a friend!
