Current Collections

July 8 | 5:30-6:30 pm   &  July 9 | 9:30-10:30 am

Who can? You can! We all can together! Let’s come together to collect 6,000 food items that will be donated to the food ministry at Metropolitan UMC, as they are currently feeding over 1,000 local families per week. Whether you’d like to shop for items or make a monetary donation below, we look forward to seeing the ways in which God will move through this effort as we strive to reach this goal together!

If you would like to donate the amount necessary to purchase one of each requested item, please select the $35 donation amount button when completing the donation form below. If you would like to purchase and donate the physical items yourself, you can view or download the suggested shopping list below.

All collections will be received at the Kitchen Door Drive-Thru. Drop off boxes will be available by the kitchen door throughout the week of the drive-thru collection. When you arrive for the collection drop off, please have your groceries in your trunk for FUMC staff and volunteers to collect. For more information Contact: Kate Wheaton at (334) 233-6571 or
